Hi-Tech the School attends Premiere Orlando

The staff members and Future Professionals of Hi-Tech the School of Cosmetology, a Paul Mitchell Partner School were thrilled to attend Premiere Orlando this year to participate in the classes, seminars and hair shows! Director Hector A. Gonzalez held a contest to award the top four Future Professionals with retail and service sales with the prize of an all-expenses-paid trip to the international beauty convention.

The group traveled together on a four-hour car ride to Orlando on Saturday, June 5 after the school and clinic floor closed, and arrived at their hotels for a good-night’s sleep. After a quick breakfast and trip on the shuttle bus, the eager Future Professionals and staff of the Paul Mitchell Partner School arrived at the convention center in awe of the crowds and beauty industry professionals all under one roof. They coordinated their long day of attending seminars for hair styling and business practices, as well as visiting the booths and stages of the many big household names in the beauty industry.

Of course they felt inclined to linger around the Paul Mitchell stage in the hopes of meeting and getting a photo taken with a platform artist such as Takashi Kitamura or Robert Cromeans! After the day wrapped up, the group met for dinner Sunday evening and planned their attendance at the Paul Mitchell pajama party, which took place at the House of Blues in Downtown Disney! Dressed head to toe in their classy and comfy pj’s, Hi-Tech the School’s staff and Future Professionals danced the night away with other beauty industry professionals and their fellow Paul Mitchell School’s family.

The busy trip did not end here! Members of Hi-Tech the School’s group woke up early Monday morning and heaed to the convention center all over again! After two days of walking around the booths, attending workshops, spending way too much money on discounted products, and taking endless photos of every poster, stage and famous stylist in sight, the group grew tired and ready to head back to Miami. After the trip was through, they remembered countless inside jokes, stories and fun victories to share, and all felt closer as a family.

As tiring and busy as it may have been, the three-day event was a huge success. It was agreat team-building opportunity and occasion to network with stylists and salon owners from around the country.
